*Anvi's Pov*

They say when you fall in love, you don’t even notice time passing. I guess I fell a long time ago, but only now did it hit me, really hit me. A whole month just… disappeared. Blink, and it was gone. And I still remember the first time I saw them.

Those eyes. Dark hazel, stormy, like they held a sky I couldn’t understand. They didn’t just look at me, they pulled me in, like I was suddenly part of something bigger, something I wasn’t ready for.

Shadow brown eyes. Intense, like a storm about to break, but soft, like they could hurt you or heal you at the same time. They looked at me like they could see right through me, like they knew all the parts I tried to hide. And somehow… it didn’t scare me. It made my chest ache in the best way.

I couldn’t look away. My heart was thudding so loud it felt like the only thing that mattered. The world shrank down to just us, just those eyes. They were confusing, magnetic, frustrating, everything I didn’t know I needed.

It wasn’t just curiosity. It was something I couldn’t name, something that felt like it had been waiting for me forever.

And in that moment, I realized, I wasn’t just lost in their eyes. I was lost in them. Completely. And I had no idea how to find my way back.

From that day on, my mornings changed. My day doesn’t really start with sunlight, or my phone buzzing, or even the smell of chai.

It starts with a name. Just one name. A whisper that stays in my head, soft but impossible to ignore. Something I can’t touch, can’t hold, can’t keep close no matter how much I want to.

And that name…

It’s always Avighna.

“Anvi...Anvi!!“

Yes it's always Avighna and Anvi together!!!

“Anvi...Anvi!! Mar gyi kya!! sunaa!!"

[Anvi… Anvi!! Are you dead or what!! Can you hear me!!]

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked to my side. Anika was sitting at her desk, talking about something.

I raised my brows at her and asked what?

*Anvi's Pov end*

“Tu karegi participate?" She asked whispered. As they sit in their ongoing lecture.

[Will you participate?]

“In what??"

“Yeh na pakka... iss tadka ki class mai baithe baithe Bhaiya ke saath apne honeymoon par nikal gayi hogi!!" Kirti gives Anvi a long look.

[She’s definitely gone off on her honeymoon with Bhaiya while sitting right there in this boring class!!]

Anvi just blush at her remark.

Anika rolled her eyes and continued, “Come on… it’s the school trustee’s birthday and Janmashtami at the same time, to tu karegi participate??!”

[So, will you participate?]

"Aa..dekhte hai...pakka nahi hai hamara!!" Saying she turns to Shalini ma'am.

[Uh… let’s see… I’m not sure yet.]

“Bhai yeh kya padha Rahi hai?" Anvi asked after a few minutes almost scratching her scalp.

[Bhai, what is she even teaching?]

“Pata nahi koi to Tissue Tissue kar rahi thi yeh thodi der phele!!" Kirti answered.

[I don’t know, a while ago she was going on about “tissue, tissue” for no reason!!]

“Tissue to samose mai lagate haina? Taaki oil sock kar le wo?" Anvi asked her interestingly.

[Don’t we use tissue with samosas? So that it can soak up the oil.]

“Tere dimaag mai har time khaana hi chalta haina?" Kirti asked while giggling.

[Food is always running in your brain, isn’t it? 😏]

Anika also contributes, “Aur Avighna bhaiya bhi!!"

[And Avighna Bhaiya too!!]

Meanwhile, after hearing this, Anvi shyly covered almost my entire face with her hands.

********************************************************

*At Avighna's classroom*

The physics class was technically in progress, but Abhay was in a whole different dimension. Right in the middle of the classroom, he was fast asleep, head tilted, mouth slightly open, looking like he had personally defeated Newton and moved on to his next nap.

Daivik, sitting beside him, tried everything short of calling an ambulance. First, a gentle nudge. Nothing.

Then a whisper, “Abee utha ja kumbhkaran... raat mai kya taare gin Raha tha?"

[Abee, wake up Kumbhkaran… were you counting stars all night or what?]

Still nothing. Finally, a full-on shake that made Abhay’s head wobble like a dashboard toy, but nope. The man did not move.

Defeated, Daivik sighed, shook his own head dramatically, and turned toward the teacher, forcing his brain to rejoin the laws of motion.

Meanwhile, Avighna was sitting like an ideal student straight out of a school brochure. Backs straight. Notebooks open. Eyes focused. His attention was fully locked on the ongoing physics chapter as if his life’s biggest goal was to understand numerical problems.

Thud.

A paper ball landed directly on Daivik’s head.

He froze.

Slowly, he blinked, processing what had just attacked him. Avighna turned toward him, biting his lip hard to stop himself from laughing, while Daivik picked up the paper ball and stared at it like it had personally offended his ancestors.

Somewhere in the class, a muffled snort escaped.

The teacher continued explaining formulas, completely unaware, while Daivik scanned the room with narrowed eyes.

Just then, his gaze shifted toward the side row… seconds the last bench from the back.

There sat a girl, head bent down, shoulders slightly shaking and she was laughing.

Trying very hard not to laugh.

Her lips were pressed together, eyes fixed on her notebook, as if the page contained the most fascinating scientific discovery in history. But the tiny smirk on her face completely betrayed her.

Daivik’s eyes narrowed.

He leaned slightly toward Avighna and muttered under his breath, “Samjha le iss Sara ko nhi to aaj mere haathon se ek murder ho jaega!!.”

[Explain it to Sara, otherwise today a murder will happen at my hands!]

Avighna followed his line of sight and immediately grinned.

Sara, sensing danger, slowly lifted her eyes, and the moment they met Daivik’s deadly glare, her smile vanished.

She straightened up in record time, pretending to read her book with intense concentration.

Too late.

Daivik cracked his knuckles silently as he opened the paper ball and glanced inside.

“Oyee... Chipkale kal kya karaya iss Aghasur ne class mai? Batana to zara, mai aai nahi thi kal!!'

[Oyee… Chipkale, what did this Aghasur make you do in class yesterday? Tell me na, I wasn’t there yesterday!]

He stared at the line for a second.

Avighna leaned closer, curiosity shining in his eyes. “Kya likha hai? Love letter hai kya?” he whispered.

[What’s written? Is it a love letter or something?]

“Kounsa love letter? Kaha hai love letter?“ Abhay suddenly sat up straight, completely alert.

[Which love letter? Where is the love letter?]

Daivik turned toward him with a death glare, “Saale!! Tujhe mai pichle ek ghante se uthane ka try kar raha tha tab to saare ghode bech ke so Raha tha aur ab? Letter ka sunke saari neend bhaag gyi teri?"

[Idiot!! I’ve been trying to wake you up for the past one hour—you were sleeping like you’d sold all your horses. And now? The moment you hear “letter,” all your sleep just disappears?]

Abhay blinked around, confused. “Arre… sone bhi nahi dete tum log. Love letter ka naam suna aur mujhe utha diya.”

[Hey… you guys don’t even let me sleep. I heard the word “love letter” and this woke me up.]

Daivik leaned closer and hissed, “Chup reh. Ek to physics ki aadhi class nikalwa di!!”

[Shut up. As it is, you already wasted half of the physics class.]

As he slowly folded the paper again, still staring toward the side row, Avighna struggled hard not to laugh.

“Par aaya kisko Love letter? Tujhe?" Abhay asked, completely ignoring Daivik and turning toward Avighna instead.

[But who got the love letter? You?]

Daivik smacked his own forehead.

Avighna coughed, trying his best to look innocent. “Not me… he got it,” he said, pointing toward Daivik.

Abhay’s eyes mischievously. “Toh Is chipkale ki  love story chal rahi hai?”

[So this chipkale’s love story is going on?]

Daivik shot Abhay a sharp look. “Nobody’s love story is going on.!!”

Avighna quickly jumped in to save him. “Arre, there's no love letter,” he said. “That Sara na? She threw a paper ball and hit him on the head.”

Abhay looked disappointed. “Bas itna hi?”

[That’s it?]

Daivik seriously considered throwing the football at Abhay’s face, “Ager ab tune Tera paper ball tanpura band nhi kiya to mai tere muh pe sidha football hi deke maarunga!!"

[If you don’t stop turning your paper ball like a tanpura, I’ll hit you straight in the face with a football.]

Avighna smirked.

Meanwhile, from the side row, Sara kept her eyes glued to her notebook, pretending like she had absolutely nothing to do with any of this.

But the tiny smrik on her lips said otherwise.

“Mujhe washroom jana hai!!" Saying that, Daivik got up from his seat and walked away, while Sara looking at him running.

[I need to go to the washroom.]

********************************************************

*Bell ring*

The moment the lunch bell rang, the entire school transformed into a stampede of starving teenagers. Classrooms emptied faster than teachers could say, “Line mein chalo.”

Bags were half-zipped. Chairs were left crooked. Someone even forgot their notebook on the desk because bhai priorities set hai sabki.

Lunch came first. Always.

Students flooded the corridors with lunchboxes in hand like soldiers marching toward the battlefield.

The battlefield, of course, being the canteen.

In the middle of this madness, Anvi walked casually with Anika and Kirti, talking as if they weren’t also part of the chaos.

“I’m telling you, Anika,” Anvi said whining, adjusting her hair strands, “if I die today, it’ll be because mummy packed karela again. Bhai yaar hadh hi gyi pichle chaar dino se mummy ko karela hi mil raha hai!!”

[Bro, this is too much—Mummy has been getting karela for the past four days!!]

Kirti gasped. “Chaar dino se? Oyee tu naa 150 gaj ki duri par hi rahena !!”

[For four days? Oyee, you stay at least 150 yards away from me.]

Anika held her tiffin close to her chest. “At least tum dono ko ghar ka khana milta hai. Mere tiffin mein toh aaj bhi sirf Bina gravy ki aalo roti bheji hogi mummy ne!!”

[At least you both get home-cooked food. In my tiffin, Mom must have sent plain aloo roti without any gravy again today!!]

Anvi stopped walking. “Bina gravy? As in… ekdum sukhi?”

Kirti placed a hand on Anika’s shoulder. “koi baat nahi Soldier, mai tere saath apne chips ka packet share kar lungi!!.”

[It’s okay, soldier, I’ll share my packet of chips with you.]

Anvi suddenly sniffed the air. “Wait… tum dono ko samose ki khushbu aai?”

[Wait… did you both smell samosas?]

Both Anika and Kirti were instantly straightened.

“Samosas?” both whispered like it was a holy word.

Without another second, all three broke into speed-walking mode...no, correction...almost running.

Anvi nearly crashed into a junior who was dramatically guarding his chocolate. “Sorry, little soldier,” she muttered, not even looking back.

As they reached the canteen, the sight was horrifying, a huge line....a very huge line.

Kirti groaned. “By the time we get samosa, yeh sabke sab bhukhad kuch chodenge nahi.”

[All of them are such gluttons, they won’t leave anything.]

Anvi squinted toward the counter. “yaar!! Hume samosa dikh rahe hai.”

[Yaar!! I can see samosas.]

Anika grabbed her arm. “Don’t make eye contact. Bura hi lagega tujhe!!”

They joined the line, still arguing about whose lunch was more depressing.

While standing in line, Anvi absentmindedly tapped her foot against the floor, her eyes lazily roaming around the corridor.

That’s when her gaze landed on Daivik.

He was standing third in line, hands tucked into his pockets and was talking with Abhay while moving forward towards the line.

A slow, mischievous smile curved on her lips.

Her eyes sparkled with a dangerous kind of excitement, the kind that only appeared when she was about to make her brother’s life miserable. An idea formed in her mind.

From where she stood, Anvi straightened her posture, cracked her knuckles softly, and fixed her eyes on Daivik’s back.

“Aaj hum sabko line mai lagne ki koi zarurat nahi hai!!" She announced slowly while looking at her Good for nothing Himawari.

[Today, none of us need to stand in a line!!]

Anika Kirti looking at her in confusion.

“Aaj to tere paison se hi khayenge hum samosa!!" With that thought dancing in her head, Anvi pushed off from the line and started walking forward, trying to look casual but failing spectacularly.

[Today I’ll eat samosas with your money only!!]

And then, just like that, she slid in right beside Daivik, she tapped his shoulder twice.

He glanced down at her, eyebrows raised, a hint of suspicion flickering in his eyes.

“Chutte nahi hai aage jao!!,” he said boringly.

[There’s no change, move ahead.]

Anvi just smiled, sweet and innocent on the surface, but inside, she was trying not to roll her eyes at him.

Haa woh baat alg thi ki Anvi ka Mann kar raha tha Daivik ke ek tapli bahane ka!!

[Yeah, that was a different thing—that Anvi was feeling like giving Daivik a light smack!!]

“Daivik Bhaiya!!” Anvi called out, her voice dripping with sugary sweetness, almost too saccharine to be real.

Daivik froze mid-step, his foot catching on the floor as he nearly stumbled. He blinked at her, clearly caught off guard.

“kya…” he started, but the words got stuck in suspicion.

Abhay, who was standing nearby, just raised his brows, clearly invested in highly entertained by the scene unfolding before him.

With almost cringe at herself Anvi again continued “Daivik Bhaiya!! Hume na total 6 samose chahiye aap laa doge?"

[Daivik Bhaiya!! I want a total of 6 samosas—will you bring them for me?]

“Tu kabse isee Chipkale ko bhaiya bolne lagi Anvi?" Abhay jumped in between.

[Since when did you start calling this chipkala “Bhaiya,” Anvi?]

“kya kare Abhay bhaiya... kaam ke liye gadhe ko bhi baap banana padta hai yeh to phir bhi mere mummy papa ka pehla product hai!!"

[What can I do, Abhay Bhaiya… for work you sometimes even have to call a donkey your father—and this one is still my mom and dad’s first product!]

Thinking this she turned towards Abhay and said, “Aree main iski...I mean mai inki choti behen hu!! Itna to kar hi sakte hai? Haina bhaiya?"

[Hey, I’m his— I mean, their little sister!! I can at least do this much, right? Isn’t that so, Bhaiya?]

Daivik just stood in complete shock literally unable to form a single word.

Avighna who walked toward the counter while Abhay, noticing Daivik, spoke up, “Tum dono Samose lene gye the yaa samosa banane? Itni der kyu laga rahe ho?"

[Did you two go to buy samosas or to make samosas? Why are you taking so long?]

Abhay waved his hand toward Anvi, who was standing beside Daivik, but Anvi’s entire attention had already shifted to Avighna and her face also started heating.

“Mil gye hum logo ko ab samose!!" Kirti muttered under her breath when she saw Avighna standing in front of Anvi.

[We finally got the samosas now.]

Kirti noticed this and rolled her eyes so hard, it was almost as if they might get stuck there permanently.

"hey bhagwan!!! Kaha iss Aashiq ke bicha phasa diya apne muje!!" Kirti exclaimed, completely done with life, as she almost smacked her lunchbox on Anika’s head.

[Oh God!!! Where have you trapped me between this lover?]

Anika snapped out of her aalu samosa world and looked at Kirti with pure confusion, before asking her, “kya hai? Lunch khaane ki jagh mere sir ko kyu khila Rahi hai?"

[What’s this? Why are you feeding my head instead of lunch?]

“kuch nahi tujhe to le aai waps iss duniya mai, ab chal wo samne khadi hui maharani ko bhi laana hai!!"  Saying this she just grabbed Anika's hand and moved towards Anvi's direction.

[Nothing, I just brought you back to this world—now come on, we still have to bring that queen standing over there.]

Avighna was just about to pick up a bread pakoda from the counter when Anvi suddenly walked up and spoke to Abhay, “Bhaiya!! Aap log jaiye na baithiye table par, yeh sab ham le aaenge!!"

[Bhaiya!! You guys go and sit at the table, I’ll bring all this stuff!]

Abhay simply raised his brows and turned toward Avighna and Daivik, who were busy placing their orders at the counter.

"Nahi!! Ek kaam kar tu jaake baith, hum log leke aate hai yeh sab!!" Saying this, Abhay walked toward the counter.

[No!! Do one thing, you go and sit, we’ll bring all this stuff!!]

Just then, Kirti and Anika arrived there as well.

The moment Anika saw Abhay standing she just back away in her steps and rolled her eyes.

A few moments later, Abhay showed up, holding bread pakoras in both hands, whistling casually as if he had just won a small battle.

“Hiiii!!! Anu bade dino baad dikhi tum!!" His face instantly lit up the moment he saw Anika, a wide, dreamy smile spreading across it.

[Hiiii!!! Anu, it’s been so many days since I last saw you.]

“Woh kya haina maine kuch dino se Hanuman Mandir jaana shuru kiya hai!! Isi liye hanuman ji muje bachane ke liye tumahare samne nahi aane de rahe!!" Anika  snapped at him while glaring.

[You know, I’ve started going to Hanuman Mandir for the past few days!! That’s why Hanuman Ji isn’t letting me appear in front of you to protect me.]

Abhay just chuckled and turned towards Anvi and Kirti.

“Yaar, aaj toh kuch zyada hi bheed hai! Tum log batao, yeh kahan rakhun?” Abhay asked.

[Yaar, today there’s way too much crowd! You guys tell me, where should I keep this?]

Kirti pointed toward a table nearby and walked ahead with him to secure their seats.

When Kirti looked back, she saw that Anika and Anvi were still standing right near the counter.

Anvi was busy staring at Avighna with soft, dreamy eyes, completely lost in her own little world.

Kirti almost face-palmed herself at the sight.

“ yeh Anvi kya counter wale uncle ko dekh rahi hai?" Abhay asked her while placing things on the table.

[Is Anvi looking at the uncle at the counter?]

Kirti shook her head in disbelief and muttered under her breath, “Bhaiya ko dekh rahi!!"

[She’s looking at Bhaiya.]

"Huh??"

She turned towards Abhay and covered, “kuch nahi bhaiya shayd khane ke liye samose ko ghure jaa rahi hai!"

[Nothing, Bhaiya… maybe she’s just staring at the samosas to eat.]

Abhay raised his brows and chuckled while shaking his head.

After sometime Avighna, Daivik, Anvi, Anika, gathered all their snacks and made their way to the table, finally settling into their respective seats.

While sitting Abhay turned to Anika and asked, “Kahiye Anika ji kya khaana pasand karengi aap?"

[Tell me, Anika ji, what would you like to eat?]

“Tumhri jubaan jo kanchi ki tarh chalti hi rehti hai!!"

[Your tongue which keeps moving like scissors.]

Abhay asked innocently, “But I thought you were a vegetarian.?"

All just snorted and Anika glared at him.

The moment Daivik sat down, his eyes immediately locked onto the bowl of samosa chutney.

Without a second thought, he grabbed nearly the entire thing for himself.

“Hey! Arre, what are you doing? Teri amma ki shaadi hai jo saari chutney uthae jaa raha!!” Abhay barked, reaching out, but too late.

[Is it your mother’s wedding that you’re picking up all the chutney?!]

“I’m doing what? Picking my share?” Daivik said innocently, smearing a generous scoop onto his plate, as if that made everything okay.

“Share? Share? Oyee, you’ve basically stolen the whole chutney! Hamare liye bhi to chod de thodi bohot ki saari khud hi apne muh ke ander thusega?” Abhay exclaimed, trying to grab some back, but Daivik slid it just out of reach, grinning mischievously.

[Leave some for us too, or will you shove it all into your own mouth?]

“Steal? Bhai, it’s first come, first serve, mai bol raha hu hapsiyon jaisa behave mat kar!!” Daivik shot back, his voice full of mock seriousness, while Abhay groaned dramatically, flopping his head onto the table in defeat.

[I’m telling you, don’t behave like a prisoner.]

While Avighna, Kirti and Anvi just watching their chutney fight with pure amused expressions.

After sometime everyone finally decided to actually eat their lunch.

But Anvi… Anvi’s attention was entirely on Avighna. Every little thing he did caught her eye, the way he held his bread pakoda, the tilt of his head as he focused on his plate, even the absentminded tap of his fingers.

She followed him with her gaze like a shadow, completely absorbed, as if the rest of the world had faded away.

Just then, Abhay’s eyes casually followed Anvi’s gaze, tracing it straight to Avighna.

He paused for a moment, taking it all in, the little way she was watching him, completely unaware that someone was noticing. And then… he just smirked.

A slow, knowing smirk, the kind that said “Ahh I see” without a single word.

It wasn’t mocking. Not exactly. It was more like enjoying the little chaos of crushes around him, silently amused by the scene unfolding in front of him.

“Baat karni padegi iss Avighna se iss baare mai!!"

[I’ll have to talk to Avighna about this.]

********************************************************

*AT Anvi's Classroom*

The entire class was drowned in the serious atmosphere of an English lecture. The teacher stood near the board, explaining some long, complicated poem with full dedication, while most students pretended to listen with equal dedication.

Everyone… except our trimurti.

Because while the rest of the class was busy with Shakespeare, Trimurti was busy with something far more important, Planning the evening.

Instead of notebooks, tiny folded chits were their mode of communication.

Anvi slid her first chit toward Anika. It read,

“Arree… yaar, hum bol rahe haina aaj shaam ko Sattu Lal ke yaha hi chalenge. Uski yaha ki rasmalai meri favourite hai!!”

[Arree… yaar, I'm saying na, let’s go to Sattu Lal’s place this evening. The rasmalai there is my favorite.]

Kirti rolled her eyes and scribbled back before passing it to Anvi, “Because of your choice of food, are you going to make the three of us walk 10 km inside??”

Anika almost snatched Kirti’s chit and quickly wrote, “Ek kaam karte hai, yahi aas-paas hi koi jagah decide karte hai…!!”

[Let’s do one thing, let’s decide on some place nearby only.]

But before any of them could pass another chit to each other, Ashrit Sir turned toward the class and made a new announcement.

“Students, main aap sabko batana bhool gaya, humari class mein kal ya parson tak ek new admission enter karega, toh…”

[Students, I forgot to tell you all, a new admission will join our class by tomorrow or the day after, so…]

He then addressed Shree and continued, “Tum us ladke ko school ke saare rules samjha dogi?”

[Will you explain all the school rules to that boy?]

Shree simply nodded her head.

The trio heard the other students murmuring among themselves.

“Do you know what? I heard that one of the school trustee’s relatives is going to join our class,” one girl whispered to the girl sitting beside her friend.

“Yeah, I heard that too… and apparently he’s really handsome!!” the other girl said, giggling.

“Oh… more handsome than our seniors? Like Avighna, Daivik, and the others?” another girl asked curiously.

Meanwhile, hearing all this, Kirti almost chuckled, but the moment her eyes fell on her two friends, she nearly lost it.

Anvi, fueled by pure jealousy energy, had half-pulled her compass out of her geometry box like she was preparing for battle.

Meanwhile, Anika just smrik.

Kirti just stared at them, internally thinking, “isee to dekh kar lag raha hai jaise abhi yeh  Simran aur Suman ka sir phod degi!!”

[Looking at her, it feels like she’s about to smash Simran and Suman’s heads right now!]

That's when she heard.

“And you know what? I guess that relative is Trustee Sir’s grandson.” one of them whispered.

Kirti’s attention snapped toward the girls instantly.

********************************************************

*At Anvi's home*

*Anvi's Pov*

Have you ever been in that place where you know exactly what you’re doing, but the why behind it feels completely lost?

Haina? Kyuki main bhi abhi wahi kar rahi hu...

[Right? Because I’m about to do the same right now…]

The moment I got home from school, I don’t know why, but my very first mission was to search for someone on Instagram.

Someone se samjh hi gye hoge.

Anvi subconscious: Usee simple words mai stalking kehte hai.

But seriously, this person hadn’t posted even a single picture.

Koi insaan yaa jyada bada hacker bhi tabhi stalk kar sakta hai jab apne koi information di ho internet par, inhone ek picture nahi daali hui.... Siwaye kuch highlights ke.

[A person—or even a very big hacker—can only stalk someone if they’ve shared some information on the internet. They haven’t posted even a single picture… except for a few highlights.]

I just groaned at the thought. And then, suddenly, I accidentally pressed the like button on one of

Avighna’s Instagram highlights.

My heart didn’t just skip a beat...it slammed into overdrive.

“Oh no. Oh no. Oh no…aaa Laxmi maa ab kya karu mai?", I muttered under my breath, frantically trying to figure out if there was a way to undo this disaster.

And then, as if on cue, my phone buzzed. My screen lit up, and for a horrifying second, I knew, somewhere out there, Avighna might have noticed.

I could feel my cheeks heating up like molten lava, my palms sweating, my brain screaming, “Sabhash yahi umeed thi tujhse!!"

This… this was officially the beginning of the most dramatic, heart-in-throat episode of my life. And the worst part? I had no idea how I was going to survive the next five minutes.

“Bhagwan ji, aaj bacha lo… I swear, aage se mai Instagram kholungi bhi nahi!” I breathed out, my eyes wide in panic.

And then, in true legendary-idiot style, I did the absolute biggest brain move anyone could

possibly do…

I BLOCKED HIM....

No notifications, no likes, no stories...

Na rahega bans na bajegi basuri.

I sat back for a second, dramatically putting a hand on my forehead like a heroine in a tragedy, thinking, or you can also say apne aap ko samjane lagi, “Bach gyi...use pata nahi chalega.”

But only if I knew....
